Shadow Shot Sunday

 Central Park, NY

It wasn't really all that cold, even though the water was frozen.

Even your photos are B&W, I still can see the wonder of Central Park. It's beauty arises.

You really captured such pretty shadows and reflections that I do love most.

Great job!

Have a blissful SS

What a lovely place, and great shots. I always enjoy seeing aerial shots of New York with that gem right in the middle. B : )

Why don't you come on over to my blog and visit a while

Really? It looks so very cold. I'm a bit of a cold-weathered-wimp though. Cold or not, they're gorgeous photos!

Even though you say it wasn't that cold those lovely shots give me the feel of real winter - maybe it's the beauty the black and white brings out?

Brrrrr...but beautiful. I just took shots of our frozen Mississippi R. yesterday, it's quite a sight when you think about it, when such majestic rivers totally freeze over...scary when it begins to thaw...downstream!

The light reflects nicely off the ice on the lake. The second photo has just the right amount of land v. water. It's really nice.

Your location information on your profile cracked me up...

Happy Shadow hunting!

Your shots are fabulous! Great scenery, but honestly, I don't believe you that it wasn't that cold. We were there a few weeks ago and it was FREEZING!!! I guess you are a little more used to the temps. I love the pictures and I'm glad that you can brave to weather to get such great shots!

The soft blues and grays really make these photos work! Gotta visit that city someday.
