The basic idea is to try to get people to show up for their scheduled shifts. "Come on, guys. Please? At least on the weekends, huh?"

Sad isn't it that employees have to be begged to come to work??
A few years ago when I worked for Alaska Airlines I was amazed at all the gimmicks they had to do to get the "youngin's" to just do their jobs!! Contests. Awards. Prizes. I was like,"this is all cream kids...be thankful!"
